At present I am living just outside of Bangor, Maine with my wife of 14 years, 2 dogs, and 2 cats.  I work full-time for a medical lab, part-time as an entertainer.  I LOVE playing the ukulele.  I also enjoy songwriting, painting, and drawing.

This summer I realized my lifelong dream to learn to ride a motorcycle.  I now ride a 2007 Harley Sportster Custom.

I am a sober alcoholic, blessed by my Higher Power with over 4 years of continuous sobriety.  I can testify from personal experience that Alcoholics Anonymous works.

My main interest (more like obsession), is spirituality and the prospect of true Self realization.  There can always be reading and learning and a choice to believe the second-hand descriptions of others.   However, I strongly believe that we are all invited by Divinity to experience unambiguous, intimate, personal, Communion with Her. 

Up until recently, my desire has been to experience the fully Self-validating Realisation spoken of by Buddha, Ramana, Nisargadatta, Eckhart Tolle, Adyashanti and many more, as quickly as possible.

Now I have ceased putting so much energy into chasing some imagined future experience.  I am still fully committed to Awakening.  However I am quite content to be where-ever Goddess brings me in the Now.  No matter what experiences appear, I endeavor to gently open to them and accept them as my current lesson.  And if I am not too terribly entranced at that moment, I try to remember to surrender my will completely to Divinity and allow Her to move and speak through me. 

I also strive to look beyond the egoic masks worn by others to see the Divinity within.  At this stage it is not unusual for me to fail at this and to meet others only at the egoic level.  But I try not to beat myself up when this happens.  The petals are opening at their own pace, and I am at peace.
